sick sick sick sick sick sick sick .......
May. 7th, 2006 04:32 pmOh I'm really feeling under the weather today.
Yesterday, I had to bring the kids with me to work because sister couldn't take them, and their father had business to attend in Sweden.
I had to order goods for my department as well, but hoped it would turn out alright. My boss is the sweetest thing and have no problem if I occasionally need to bring the kids to work.
Everything went fine until my daugther - Miss Karoline 8 years old - suddenly said (embarrassed big time) that she had messed in her pants... ok... I went and bought a few new panties and this happened a few times because her stomach was upset...!!!!! But eventually that was over and done with but she was so unwell and seemed a bit feverish. The day finally came to an end and I was impressed she had managed to keep up for 6 hours. We took the bus home and she didn't get car sick. Thank God. Mads did fine as well and I was so proud of them.
We went to a candy store to cheer them up before going home and... she threw up in the bin outside the store... hm.... The shop owner was ever so kind and offered water, paper towels etc.
Coming home, she went straight to bed and that was the end of one lousy day for Miss K. Today, I have a fever, a very sore throat and aching teeth.
Karoline has fever as well so I keep her home tomorrow. Mads is peachy so he'll go to kindergarten. I have 2 weeks of vaccation starting tomorrow so it's great I can keep my daughter home. (last time I had sick kids too! Apparently a trend!) I'm not going anywhere in my vaccation, so I'll be around.
We slept till 1 pm today *s* Could have slept more but I doubt it would have made a difference. You just feel so heavy in your body.
So it was great to see
femalesoldier's fabulous links for Jimmy Kimmel show. Can spend a few hours watching that... easily.
